Exactly but it works just fine. Only drain the battery lil more.

Guess it depends on the person but I found the third party ones drained too much and wouldn't use them. But the oem ones were fine

I don't think it had it originally.

Yeah the battery life would suffer on the LCD of if it had aod. Although they could have copied the Moto display which should be ok for LCD.

Acceptable, imo. I wonder why Huawei couldn't do a similar implementation on the mate

That they do. Glad lg figured it out for the g6. Battery life was atrocious on my g4
