Random text sent- What is this?

Have been noticing a text message sent to 94183571 every now and then...
"GET?c=SAM:SM-G935A/6.0.1:1.0.24-6&v=1.0&l=myphone#&AD"

I am sure it is related to a setting don't know what...

Re: Why do i keep getting these random text

Welcome to Android Central!

Is this a new mobile account, or one that you've had for a while? Depending on the carrier, the number may have been "recycled" quickly and these texts could be intended for the previous owner of your number.

Re: Random text sent- What is this?

GET?c=ATTV:Pixel XL/8.1.0:4.2.0.0046&v=1.0&l=cell#&AD I just this today. So it seems that the Att Visual Voicemail app still does this from time to time. I ended up removing the app as I don't use it all that much.

Im getting this as well. Im with kricket.

GET?c=ATTV:SAMSUNG-SM-J321AZ/6.0.1:3.2.0.100171&v=1.0&l=&AD

Welcome to Android Central! Check with your carrier to see if they have any insight into it.

What is this text i recieved

Received this text. What is it ?
GET?c=ATTV:LG-K373/6.0:3.3.0.100081&v=1.0&l=6364662278&AD

Re: What is this text i recieved

It's from a web browser. How it got into a text is the mystery. Someone copied it and pasted it to a text, maybe. (Without the http://<whatever> part, it's useless - it's the data being given to some website, but we have no way of figuring out which one.)

This is used to hack into my phone. I know who it is. He's controlling my phone messages and phone calls my emails and my Facebook.

Re: Random text sent- What is this?

I'm sure you figured it out by now but Cricket is AT&T. I found this thread cause same thing happened and I am Cricket as well. But I just activated Cricket's visual voicemail and got this text so I'm sure that's where it came from. Glad I found this!

Number ported? What is this mystery text message?

Anyone know what this mysterious text message is? Is my number getting ported? I haven't given my ATT phone number to anyone and used a Google Voice account for all calls but that was hacked shortly before I got this text directly on my ATT phone number:

GET?c=ATTV:5041C/8.1.0:4.3.0.0023&v=1.0&l=7608403405&AD

From the number "94183157"

Re: Number ported? What is this mystery text message?

While I am not sure what the text message, you referenced means, I would Strongly suggest that you contact AT&T and let them know your suspensions, so that if someone is trying to Port Out your phone number, you can stop it.

What does GET?=ATTV:5941C/8.1.0.0.3.3.0.1.00082&v=1.0.1=9707391058& AD mean

I just received this message and i have no idea what it means?

Re: What does GET?=ATTV:5941C/8.1.0.0.3.3.0.1.00082&v=1.0.1=9707391058& AD mean

It's a poorly-formed HTTP request. If someone sent it as a text, it was just someone who doesn't know what he's doing.

Why does this text keep coming through on my husband's phone

alcatel 94183568

GET?c=ATTV:Alcatel_5044C/

GET?c=ATTV:A GET?c=ATTV:ALcatel_5044C/ 7.0: 330101081

This message comes through on my husband's and I phone. It's like he's switching sim cards or something. It's been happening for a year or 2 and I don't know what it could mean.

Re: Why does this text keep coming through on my husband's phone

Welcome to Android Central! Are you on AT&T, or some other carrier? Have you asked them about this? Sounds like some glitchy text that's stuck in the system somehow. Maybe someone on the carrier side can clear it out.
