Mibox and VPN issues?

Has anyone gotten any reasonable speeds with the MiBox while connected to VPN? Not connected i get my 105mbps speeds, but with THREE different VPNs that I have tried, im bottled down to 6 -10 mbps speeds. Simply not good for streaming services. Has anyone had success with a VPN or know why I am being throttled down so much?

PS. its only on my android Mibox. Phone and PC all do great with the VPN services on.

It depends on what type of VPN you're referring to - one that you connect to a website, then use it to connect to the streaming site? Or one you connect to in your office, to get a connection to your office network? (That's the kind that "VPN" in the phone refers to.)

Its the Kind where you log into the VPN app and connect. I have tried Unlimited VPN, IPVanish, and Vypr VPN. All three give me good speeds when i log into them from the app on my phone or desktop, but with the MiBox it slows way down to 8-10. Yes on the same server..and it doesnt matter which server. Just frustrating and wanted to know if anyone has had better luck.
