Hi there, I am receiving a moisture detected in USB charging port error message every time I try and charge my phone. It charges for maybe 30 seconds to a minute then this error pops up. This has been happening over the last day and half. This is obviously pretty frustrating. Especially given the fact the phone has been no where near any water/steam or anything like that.

I have tried wiping the socket with a cloth and blowing hot air from a hair dryer but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Happened one time for me when I was certain it hadn't got wet. If you are certain yours isn't (not that it should matter because the moisture detection will still work) but try restarting which worked for me.

You shouldn't need to try rice or dessicant since the phone is water proofed.

No luck so far

Maybe the sensor that detects the moisture was malfunctioned from the get go? Does it seem like there is any water damage to the phone at all? I'd contact Samsung

Did you ever figure anything out? Been having this issue on my s6 active for a few days, seemingly ever since my phone got updated. A new cable seemed to work for about a day but now having same problem. Phone hasn't been around water
