Monthly 4g plan questions

So I am switching from verizon to T mobile to save money and will be using the monthly 4g $30 a month plan. My buddy is giving me a sidekick 4g for free since he has a my touch 4g. Here is my main concern. Eventually I will want a different phone. When I have my service all up and running on the sidekick 4g can I just buy a different phone off craigslist and pop my sim card into it and the new phone will work?

Sorry for the noob question I have only used verizon and virgin mobile before so I have never dealt with a sim card. I am thinking of saving up some cash and selling the sidekick 4g and buying a sensation or G2x phone but it will be a few months before it happens, I am just wore out using my verizon LG text phone because the browser is down right garbage

Yup you can switch the sim and put it in the new phone when you decide to switch. I do it all the time with both att and t mobile.

Yes. But be careful, handset ate coming out with micro sim cards.
