Most data you have used in a month?

76 GB and I'm on wifi at home but I don't see home for 21 days at a time I work on a boat... I average 20 to 40 gb a month.

I am very surprised by the reaction of a large number of people on this forum about peoples usage of data when the product that was purchased was an "UNLIMITED" (understood to be without limits) data plan. If this caused issues for Verizon, verizon should not have sold the product or service. Abuse can not be had when the subscriber is only untilizing what he had paid for. The subscribers have not done anything devious or with malevolence, just using a product that they had purchased with their hard earned money. The fault can not be with the purchaser only with the vendor if this behaviour affects other negatively. Greatfully we are not in the same boat and not under any obligations to work for the greater good. In that spirit i encourage all those that purchased unlimited data please feel free to use your device unlimitedly and dont feel compelled by others to curtail your behavior. Guilt trips and appeals to the greater good are nonsense when the only thing you are doing is using a product that you had purchased.

I think the criticism is because some see "unlimited" as a challenge to use as much as possible regardless of whether or not they need to. If someone uses 20 gb of data from normal use that is not abuse. But when people are using as much data as they can to set some personal record or to prove a point is a different story.

Amen brother.I agree with you. I am the same way I pay for unlimited data each month so therefore I am allowed to use as much as i please I get what i pay for. The 30 dollar unlimited hotspot is much cheaper than paying a regular ISP for service. My town just went 4G LTE and with the speeds I get on 4G it would cost me nearly 100 dollars a month on a regular ISP Why should I pay 70 more dollars when I dont have to? Thats right. Unlimited data is unlimited data and I will use it to my hearts content. My record for the most data is 60 gigs in one month. I stream live radio 24 hours a day plus watch movies on netflix and youtube plus sync all my email and facebook all the time.

One time I went data crazy and went up to 15 gigs lots of Netflix Pandora bootleg shows 0.0

I hate I heart radio no good rock stations it seems rock is going to hell and no good music or stations :(

INSPIRE AOKP ICE COLD SANDWICH ROM ;)

mine is the same 6-8 gigs, and i use the phone ALOT.

it is abuse.

I used to use around 4-6 gigs/month, but recently moved, and service is not as good. So, I use wifi all the time. I'm down to about 1.5 gigs this past month. I also use the phone ALOT.

I normally use around 5-6 gigs. But I had my home internet disconnected due to poor speeds from ATT. So I used my hotspot and ate up around 15 gigs/month.

PS: I paid $30/mo to the Big Red for HotSpot. I wasn't root back then :)

this is exactly why we must pay for wireless hotspot and such outrageous data fees.It is because of people like this.

Get a real ISP for those things. You bog doen the network and raise prices for all of us.

unreal.

this pisses me off

My record is 78GB with Sprint, but more that I have Comcast and my job has Wi-Fi, I'm only using less than a gig, but sometimes I may turn off Wi-Fi because hot spots are slow!

Times like that I'll do about 3 gigs.

The op isn't accusing anything, he's using his unlimited like he wants to.

If it was a problem Verizon wouldn't offer it.

Besides, less than 1% use that much data.

Verizon isn't being hurt at all, they already overcharge you for everything (why would it cost more to add a smartphone to the new SE plans than a regular phone when the data isn't included?) So that 1% isn't hurting them.

This month is the largest so far. I am at 16.5 gigs and have a week or so left on my bill cycle. HBO GO and Netflix. Streaming Philadelphia Sports Talk radio on my ride to and from work.

Once we used 200GB... Don't ask how. I blame endless streaming of netflix and lots of uhm... downloads.

Well only happened one month. I'm not sure if that was in total or one of our lines. I just remember asking a rep at store and have me the 200GB and said we hit the top 5% and would probably be getting throttled for next month. Was awhile back.

My record is between 60-70GB. IDR how much exactly. I normally average around 40/month. I don't abuse my unlimited data plan. I take advantage of it.

wow...I thought I was a heavy user. my 6-7 GB a month is crumbs compared to some of you guys. I feel much better now, thanks.
