Preordered day 1 and had original date of 10/13. Received my Moto X yesterday, so I suspect you will all get them before the 13th but seeing everyone else get them sooner is not fun, I understand. The good news it this device is worth waiting on. Want to spend a few days with it before giving some thoughts but right off the bat, I am struck by how far android has come over the years. I have been using an iPhone 6+ for the last week and the Moto X is just so much more useful! More to come in a few days...

32GB White front, Walnut back Verzion version. Ordered on 9/26 and had delivery date of 10/13. Just saw in fedex that a shipment was initiated with an estimated delivery date of 10/7. We will see if I actually get it then.

Your sig reminds me a lot of me. I go through smartphones like s*it through a goose. Currently have an iPhone 6+ and HTC 7. Had quite a few of the models on your list. I'm just about to put a Palm Pre+ up for sale on eBay! Think I can get enough to pay for the Moto X...if I ever get it?

I'll be curious to hear your thoughts about the X vs. the iPhone. I'm platform neutral, so it'll be interesting to get your take on things. Congrats on getting yours. God only knows when - or if - I'll ever get mine. One thing's for sure - Motorola's got my money (for now)...

Ordered 32gb Pure Edition (White front/Chalk back) on 9/27 with an estimated delivery of 10/22. Took everyone's advice and created a FedEx account. FedEx shows it shipped today and will be here Tuesday; Motorola's website still says "Not Shipped."

Called Motorola and confirmed that it shipped today. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why some orders have processed and others haven't.

Just spoke with Motorola, they said my phone (which is in the "We're assembling it" stage) is "ready for release", whatever the hell that means! I asked for a tracking number and she said it's not available just yet.

I'm estimated for a 10/23 ship...but it looks like it'll hopefully be sooner. Unfortunately I can't use FedEx delivery manager because it's shipping to a commercial location.

Sooo excited! Woke up to use the rest room thjs morning at 3am and saw that moto has finally shipped my phone! Estimated time of delivery is 10/7! Been a long wait and hope it's a worthy successer to my M7! :-D

I just got my shipping notice a few minutes ago! The phone came 5 days ago with no notice! Glad to have it early, but something wrong there for sure.

Me too, which is awesome. That means Motorola has had my money for a month (I ordered 9/18) and I have nothing to show for it. Meanwhile, others have had identical phones for weeks after waiting 4-5 days. I love equality. Motorola has really dropped the ball on this rollout. Bunch of BS.

we would all think that they'd even have this config ready, sans the trim

I'm no expert on their assembly line, though I would think they'd have pre-assembled [black front black back] and [white front black back], then they wait on orders and add the trims/accents. But could be the accents come in between and they way I wrote cannot be executed that way
