How are people giving others codes? Don't you have to give them access to the email that the code was associated with?

Also surprised to see that FedEx is scheduled to deliver tomorrow by 3PM in Cali. I guess it pays to leave out both signatures during customization.

From what they've said, it doesn't. The other person can use the code, but they have to check out as a guest. (I believe it will let them put their email in at that time) In fact, the CSR I talked to said that if you got more than one and were going to use both, they recommended using the checkout as guest option for both.

I put signatures and all the bells and whistles on my wifes moto x and it will be here today by 8 pm as well

Mine has been in building for over 24 hours now and hasn't shipped as of now so I guess that rules out getting it today.

Doh! Delayed in Indianapolis! Looks like mine managed to make it out by 3:11am PST... Fedex still shows that it will deliver today at 3pm. Ironically, here in Portland, OR we are having a rare snow and the freeways are a mess. Perhaps I'm not destined to get my Moto X today!

In my instance, they never sent me one. So I got on Twitter and provided my info and they got right back with me. The original code came about 8 hours later.

I read on their forums of someone that got their on a Saturday, so I think they will. Could also possibly pick up at the facility if it is there and they aren't delivering.
