I missed out on the deal so I checked Craigslist and found a new one in the box for $240 so I picked it up and activated it on Verizon, actually worked out better. I really like the phone so far, have to get familiar with all the features and Android 4.4, coming off a Droid RAZR.

This is my situation exactly. I placed the order on Wednesday at around 6:00 PM EST. I did get the email on Friday that it may be delayed. The phone is for my wife, and she's putting up with her Nexus 4 until the Moto X arrives. In other words, she's not exactly suffering! But still it's always difficult waiting on a new phone even though your current one is just fine.

Sooooooo I hate to burst your bubble but anything coming into or leaving the DFW metroplex had come to a halt because of the ice storm we got on Thursday. I'm an hour north of DFW and they have been shutting down all major highways going north out of DFW. I haven't gotten any mail since Thursday and I'm not sure I'll be getting any tomorrow either. I've been iced in my house for three days and counting.

I was given a donated code but received an error message trying to use it. Anyone else had a similar issue? I'm wondering if it is due to a link to the e-mail address to which the code was assigned. Color me disappointed.
