I ordered mine on Tuesday, November 25. It was shipped Thursday, November 27. I received it Monday, December 1.

AT&T 32GB, Cognac back, black front, engraving and personalized welcome greeting. Purchased it with the PIN card from the store so I could use the Next plan for it.

Honestly I was very impressed with the whole process. I did sign a release online on the FedEx tracking page so it would be dropped off at my house with no one there as it did require a signature.

Mine was shipped from China.

Thanks for the info, one more to help me build my case, other than att I ordered the same device Nov 11 and still waiting!

Wow kinda pissed. Mine has just been sitting in Queens since Saturday and isn't out for delivery today. I guess they really don't want to give it to me a day early? I only have till Friday to send this old Moto X back, so this tracking mess up is making me nervous.

Yeah, mine went through customs 3 times in Memphis then it said it arrived in Los Angeles at 4:34AM but it went though customs in Memphis again @ 6:04AM after it had already arrived in LA.. LOL

Then it never said 'Out for delivery' and the FedEx dude just knocked on my door at about 10AM..

I'm sure this is has to do with local time vs. a time zone they choose. If you look at the hop from CN to the US you will see it on the same day, which makes sense as they are a day ahead of us.

I called FedEx about a year ago because they lost a package. The call was escalated to a supervisor and I was told that most scans in the system are automated based on where the package should be based on their movement system.

I was told very few scans / updates are an actual physical scan of the package and that most scans are based on their shipping arthrograms. ie, where should the package be based on their system.

I don't know if this is true but it would make sense that they are not scanning millions of packages several times a day..

I ordered mine on 12/2, and just received it this morning,. The estimated delivery date was Thursday, 12/10, so I'm more than pleased to have it in my hands already. So far loving it.

I chatted with them late last week and they said it is showing as Open and Processing in their system and I would get it on Wednesday but I'm thinking that is unlikely if it still hasn't even shipped from China yet.

Well just talked to Motorola and even though I haven't gotten any e-mail updates they said today it is waiting for pickup from fedex and I will get the tracking number when it is picked up. So sounds like you can generally rely on the estimated delivery time they have given you even if you haven't gotten an update.

I got the initial order received email, but never got they "we are assembling it" email. Then it was shipped and I didn't get shipment notice until one day after it shipped.

I feel ur pain but listen to this... mine is scheduled for wed delivery, I won't be home, they won't leave without sign and the soonest I can go to fed ex to get it will be Saturday!!!
