MotoMaker Orders! Delays

I feel ur pain but listen to this... mine is scheduled for wed delivery, I won't be home, they won't leave without sign and the soonest I can go to fed ex to get it will be Saturday!!!

On fedex tracking page you can sign release to deliver w/o sig or redirect to another location e.g. a fedex/kinkos near you.
 
I'm patienly waiting to get a response back from Motorola about my month old order. If I don't hear anything today I will call first thing tomorrow. On a positive note today I got an email that my daughter phone was been assamble... will see how that one turn around.
 
I ordered mine on 12/2, and just received it this morning,. The estimated delivery date was Thursday, 12/10

My situation exactly, and it came from China and was customized - - guess we're just lucky. Haven't had time to do much yet.
 
Well good news with mine got notification it has arrived in the UK, so expect to receive tomorrow

How many people here got the phone under contract vs full retail?
 
I ordered mine under a Verizon contract. I almost said "got mine" but that would be false since I ordered but don't have mine yet. And no call within 24 hours as the rep told me on the chat message yesterday and still showing Not Shipped on my Order page. Very frustrating and I feel like the reps are telling me anything just to get me off the chat.
 
Purchased Motorola direct, don't bother using moto migrate it failed with moto x 1st gen. Used good old USB and PC to transfer.

I ordered mine under a Verizon contract. I almost said "got mine" but that would be false since I ordered but don't have mine yet. And no call within 24 hours as the rep told me on the chat message yesterday and still showing Not Shipped on my Order page. Very frustrating and I feel like the reps are telling me anything just to get me off the chat.

Same problem for me I ordered one for me and one for my wife my wife got email with shipping status but I haven't received anything. When I talk to the reps they are like oh yeah your orders is being processed. Keep in mind we placed both at the same time yet hers is built and shipped and mine is still processing? Sucks.

On VZW full retail less the CyberMonday discount. The $15/mth line access discount makes the cost exactly the same as on contract ($15x24mths = $360). Rather have freedom from contract, plus if we decide to increase our data plan the line access discount will go up to $25/mth.

December 1 after I got my code...maybe around 7:30 at night. I just chatted AGAIN with them and now they said my order was supposed to ship on 12/4 but it has been delayed so I should be contacted within 24 hours telling me why and my new order date. If it was delayed, I should have been contacted about that without me having to dig and find out why I haven't gotten a phone I've already paid for.

Well, at least they told you they would call you with a new ETA, I order mine Nov 11th and haven't been told anything at all. No reason at all. They always claim they will call me but that never also happens...
 
Yesterday I was told I'd get a call within 24 hours but I didn't. So I'm not holding out much hope I'll be contacted this time either. I feel bad that you've been waiting since November 11. I've only been waiting since 12/1 and I'm frustrated.
 
Ordered mine on 12/3 @ 4:00pm MT. I received it this morning in Denver. I got a 32gb black/dark grey/navy for Verizon. It arrived 2 days earlier than my initial estimate. Downloading 5.0 now.

I think we're in the same boat. I just chatted with them again and was told it is still waiting for pickup from FedEx who have been delayed for some reason (was told the same yesterday). The rep told me he couldn't tell me when it should ship since they are waiting for FedEx. I did manage to get a $25 accessory coupon from it all so I guess that's something. I would much rather have had my phone though :(.

Well I just had a heated conversation about my month old order, They don't have a clue where your phone is... One minute they told me the phone is waiting to be pick up by Fed Ex, later on the conversation I was told the order could be stuck in the system due backorder parts. He basically told me the order has to be manually release otherwise will stay stuck and newer orders will be complete(with same phone specs) before mine. So theirs system is broken, doesn't seems like they can call the warehouse directly, they rely on emails. I was given an email where you can complaint, if anyone wants to escalate theirs problem. ceomoto@motorola.com (Executive Customer Escalations). Try and see what happens, however I email them Saturday morning, got a response that they will look into my case but haven't heard from them ever since.

Well thank you for that. Normally I would let it go a little longer, but hearing your frustrating story makes me a lot more nervous. I just tried e-mailing them, we'll see what happens.

Just curious - why you are still chasing Moto on this order? As I understand it you have your money back from this order because your credit card cancelled the payment. If you have your money back why not just consider it a cancelled order and move on?
