Mounted SD card to LG now my photos all have the same thumbnails!!! Help

I ran out of memory right away on an LG, so I mounted an sd card and put all photos on it. Now when I go to the card to look at photos its just a huge long list of Jpegs with all the same thumbnail, gallery standard looking thing. How am I supposed to tell the pics apart. I'll be searching for hours for a particular pic???? This is ridiculous
