Moving on from Nexus 5, what to get?

Yes, I performed all the normal[factory reset] steps to right the issues with no significant difference.

On my Nexus 10 nothing worked right after 5.0.2 until I performed a factory image flash. Sometimes a factory reset is not enough. Then you will know it is ABSOLUTELY clean and stock. I think sometimes accumulated OS OTA updates introduce issues that can't be solved with even a factory reset.

So do i get a Moto 360? If i do, ill stick with Android and see which Nexus 2015 or Moto X3 are like....i really dont see the big difference between iOS and Android these days.

I *LOVE* my Moto 360 with the Nexus 5. Works very well... Better than I expected (after they got the bugs out of the 360 by the second OTA update).

Yup, i'm now going with my Nexus 5 and Moto 360...the pair is great! Honestly, I was skeptical about the Android Wear device being useful but I've got to say im very pleased thus far. I mean, I knew what I was getting and did my research but even after watching all the videos and reading all the feedback, actually using the device is great.

Hopefully 5.1 will fix all the problems, Im hanging on to my N5 for a but longer since I'm not in a rush. I was thinking N6 but the new HTC m9 (GPE) and just the new phones coming out now, or the new one plus one coming soon actually make it a competitive decision to make.. What do you guys think?

The new OnePlus One probably won't be out until next fall. I'm hanging on to my Nexus 5 and my OnePlus One. If one dies, the other should still be fine. Love them both. I wish they had micro SD and removable battery though.

I myself have the N5 for 16 months now and will be hanging on to it for awhile. I am waiting to see HTC One (M9) and the Galaxy S6 show up on the (GPE) list. If not then I will wait a little bit longer to the what the next Nexus looks like.

Anyone looking at the Samsung S6 Edge? ...seems to be very similar in size, if you don't want to go to the Nexus 6.

I don't think any non-Nexus/non-GPE can really replace a Nexus. Many of us don't want carrier or vendor-controlled OS and updating. I will keep hoping that a Nexus 5.2 will come out.

I am very happy with my Nexus 5. Think I will keep it until the next Nexus, because the HTC M9 doesn't convince me enough, and the calendar suggests us that we're already in March. I like the Nexus 6 even if people tell the good and the bad about it. In less than 6 months a new Nexus will come, and at this point I will continue to enjoy my Nexus 5 until next fall. Let's see what The Great Pumpking will bring.

Anything is possible but I don't believe that is the case. My app usage is minimal and all seem to have proper Android L support. Have also been keeping an eye on battery stats and Wakelock Detector app. Majorly streamlined what's on my phone after the transition to L. Expected worse battery but not this bad.

the vast majority of us are doing just fine so i'd look again.

perhaps you have an incompatible/conflicting/rogue App or Setting with Lollipop installed?

Or (I thought I already posted this) perform a factory IMAGE install, which is far more clean than just a "factory reset". I had to do that on my Nexus 10 to get it back to normal after the 5.0.2 update.
