Multi-phoners‽

I should also add that most people I know personally have iPhones. The mini just makes my life easier with socializing. I won’t be the one breaking the group chat
Lol. My friends love to razz me for breaking the group chat with their iPhone-loving selves. I just don't care anymore.

Technology is cyclical in that way, huh? I mean, technology is introduced, and in the beginning, it "makes life easier". Then at a certain point, you have to discard it in order to once again "make life simpler".
That's the kicker, trying to find a happy medium.

Ha! I feel ya! I had to make a change when sending video became important. I have a 4 year old mini labradoodle and he definitely knows how to get the attention of my camera now and days. Coming from Android (Pixel 3) I kinda was forced into iMessage.

Do you get the side-eye for doing so? My husband's family almost exclusively use iPhones, so he and I may get the odd tease about it.

Well I got left out a lot conversations. Which sucks. Being sent screenshots of convos is not exactly being included.

And this was family. Not friends.. Blood thicker than water my A**

I have other problems with my mom's side of the family (her siblings and their children) -- I can totally relate to feeling left out. If they don't include you, they're not worth your time!

I don't think this is a personal problem, it's a problem with the manufacturers who are playing games and making it harder on us. Certainly not something that should break up families.

So true and I am done allowing those around me to dictate what phone(s) I buy. As many phones as I have I could easily have at least one iPhone...but no. I will not.

I agree… Trust me buying a iPhone in 2020 was the last thing on my mind to purchase. I never was a fan of the OS and still not. It drives me up the wall when I can’t do certain things to my personal settings like I did on the pixel.
However, Apple caught my attention with this form factor. I came from Pixel 3 and clearly I like compact phones. The mini is the smallest flagship phone on the market and it will last me years. Until a Android manufacturer entertain the idea of users wanting something else other than a pocketable tablet then count me out. I do have a Pixel 6 for work which I begged my manager to get me because I didn’t want to carry two iPhones. One is enough! I’m a huge fan of what Google did with the Pixel 6 it’s just so d*mn big.

The Asus Zenphone caught my eye as a more compact device with high-level specs.

Yes the Asus Zenphone is really nice, I haven’t seen one in person though.

My coworker just traded her Samsung Galaxy S8+ to a Galaxy S22 and that thing is really nice! Very compact for a 6.1” display I thought when I held it. I would’ve maybe went Sammy on that one. But I’m not giving up the mini for the 22. I do think the S22 models are the best looking phones Samsung has made. Just my two cents.

Something is going on with duplication on this thread and I keep getting an error when I try to reply.
