Some stores actually got them on before the tbolt was released. Im sure HTC knew that they needed to have extended battery on the shelf when the phone is actually released.
It's too bad HTC doesn't make something like a 1800-1850 mAh battery. the 2750 ruins the look of the phone.
Do batteries from older HTC phones work on the Thunderbolt? For example, I have a 1750mAh battery from the Incredible that doesn't require an extended cover. Would it work on the Thunderbolt?
Sorry but it will 100% NOT fit. The battery from the incredible is almost an inch longer in length. I have both phones and compared the batteries side by side.
Yeah I like the extended battery as well. Not that I don't like the uniform look of the regular. I like having something to hold on to when browsing or playing a game. And the extra definition to the phone helps with this. I found I was pulling out the kickstand to have something more to hold on to while surfing. And when I let a friend look at it, that was one of the first things he said when I showed it to him. Just got it today though, I am really excited to see how long the battery lasts on this one though. It really doesnt bother me. I used the hell out of my phone yesterday, 3 hours of pandora, as well as heavy gaming and internet use. And last night it was only at 43 percent. The extra bulk isnt a dealbreaker. If anything, it made this phone so much better IMO. I was doubting my initial purchase the first 2 days because the battery life was God aweful. But this is a full cure for that issue. Just waiting for a case for this beast to come out.....
