My Nexus 5 was stolen by UPS

Contact UPS immediately. They track their drivers pretty closely and this one has some explaining to do. They will have you fill out paperwork to resolve. However, they take this stuff very seriously and will fire an employee immediately if they are suspected of stealing property. (PS. I worked for UPS during holiday seasons, so I know how they operate. Good luck!

That Suck!, this always happens to a few people, because people are jerks. I would think google would try to rush you one? Postal gods have mercy on my PS4

Sadly it isn't googles fault some scum bag from UPS stole it so I can understand why they aren't rushing one to the OP

My Nexus 5 arrived safely, but I just found out today that a Note 3 I RMA'd back to Sprint a few weeks ago was stolen by UPS.

Something is funny in KY. I have two on order that Google says left their warehouse Saturday and UPS has no record of it aside from ready for pickup. Customer service opened an investigation.View attachment 90765

I had this happen to me when I got my Nexus 7 shipped from preorder last year. It turns out Google had sent it to UPS, but it was just basically waiting on a pallet for shipping.

From what I remember, UPS will file an insurance claim and reimburse the Seller, if insured, up to the value. Seller should send another, or refund your money. Fact is you didn't get what you paid for, and it's the seller's responsibility to make sure you do.

By the way...mine was left without signature as well, which is funny because I had to sign to receive the 6.95 SIM card I purchased from my carrier. Which was silly.

Re-order the phone. Site says 2-3 weeks for shipping but they ship right away. Mine was shipped the very next day (got mines 11/07 and order it 11/05) Dont loose faith and re-order it.
Good luck.

Re-order the phone. Site says 2-3 weeks for shipping but they ship right away. Mine was shipped the very next day (got mines 11/07 and order it 11/05) Dont loose faith and re-order it.

I also think it depends which one you order. I ordered another Nexus 5 (a white one) yesterday, and just got a shipping notice this evening. Of course on the site it says 2-3 weeks.

To the OP, I'm sorry to hear what happened. I've had that happen to me before, but I never got the box. I ordered a phone from Amazon, waited a few weeks and it never came. Called UPS and Amazon and no one knew what happened. Amazon refunded my money.

When I get stuff from Google through UPS they always leave it at the front door, that's why I always try to be home, if possible. It's sort of a double-edged sword. I like when they leave it because, you don't have to worry about being away and missing it, but you take a chance on someone stealing it. You can't control when an employee of the company delivering the item steals it.

That's what I like about ordering from Apple. They use Fedex and always require a signature, and their stuff always arrives early, from my experience.

I did reorder a white 32gb yesterday evening after reporting the theft to Google. Have not received a shipping notice and the Play store order status still shows it will leave the warehouse on 11/22/13. It just kills me that I should have it in my hands right now but some low-life took it.

Yeah this is what irks me. I ordered on the 4th and I'm still waiting. Yeah I could cancel it and re-order but I'm not sure I want to risk that it gets pushed out even more. I'm selling my current phone to gazelle (got the box to send it back in just sitting there as we speak) I need to get the nexus so I can send that phone out and get my $
