My phone keeps beeping (notifications) sound when downloading any media from google chrome

[Android Central Question]

Everything was going smooth with my phone until a download crashed and since then it started with a problem where videos weren't visible anywhere outside of the browser downloads (playable) still there but don't appear neither in my files nor gallery or videos. Ran malwarebytes and it came up clean, but still while downloading anything from chrome i am flooded with constant notif beeps.
What's the relation between my media not being visible and the constant beeps and how to fix it thank you very much

Pretty much i cleared cache and data uninstalled and re-installed but the problem persists

First, open Chrome, then tap Menu>Settings>Downloads. What's listed as the default Download Location?

Also, go to your system settings, tap Apps>Chrome>Permissions. Is Storage permission turned on?

Downloads/storage/emulated/0/download
The permission was turned off (weird) but i turned it back on now
Still whenever i download it keep flooding me with the notifications sound.
My only fear is it being some malware that cant be noticed by malwarebytes

Downloaded videos are again not showing anywhere except for downloads bar in chrome.

Is NFC turned on? If so, try turning it off.

When you hear those tones, is there any notification icon in the status bar?

Swipe down and long-press that downloading notification. Do you get any options to adjust the notification settings?

What were you downloading before when things crashed?

Long press chrome tap info >scroll to notifications and turn off see if it goes away

Ok yes now long pressing it showed that it was on "alert" i turned it off
I was downloading a pdf from a seemingly fishy site
Thank you a lot now the beeping has stopped. but the downloaded video problem persists

Make sure you have permission in chrome for storage same place long press chrome tap permission
