My Rant on the iPhone 5s

Their last line of defense is probably the iPad Mini.

It's already overdue for a refresh and a much better screen but rumors point out that the screen's gonna stay the same, with just hardware improvements.

Can't Apple see how much Google hit them hard with the 2013 Nexus 7?

Eh, whatever. All manufacturers do specs bumps no matter how you look at it. I don't really care, I just buy what I want.

Well, in the end, it's the consumers who make the final decision.

Let's hope Apple's able to justify the Mini's $349 price-tag this time.

NFC is useless It has been on 2 android devices I have owned and both were disabled by AT&T. and where I live. nearly ZERO places even accept it. NFC is over hyped junk in its current state.

U my friend is wrong. Google wallet is accepted at 711, best buy, walgreens home depot, radio shack, vending machines, mcdonald's, foot locker among others. I'm in chicago btw.

You guys talking about camera of the iPhone 5s, I guess miss the part about the larger aperture, larger pixel size, and larger sensor size.

It might be just as good if not better than the Galaxy S4 camera, but keep looking at that 13mp size because that is the right thing to do.

That was an example. The more common use is photo and file sharing. I do it a lot, and I see it happen a lot in my work place. All around actually. It's technology that could be improved, but certainly not worthless

NFC isn't needed for an iPhone for photo sharing. iPhones use Shared Photo Stream, or Airdrop(iOS 7), even if they are 10000 miles away and want to share 1000 photos all at once.
No need to touch the back of an iPhone to the back of another iPhone. File sharing can be thru any one of 100 options, Google Drive, Skydrive, Dropbox, email, etc. etc.

1020 excluded, that's nice. That proves my point right there. Apple doesn't make the best camera anymore.

It's a solution! Certainly not the best, but it works right? There's always issues with everything, even your precious iPhone. Do I need to bring up the data usage for AT&T at one point on the iPhone 5? What about the ongoing battery issue? iPhones aren't an exception to problems that occur

The 1020 is excluded because it isn't so much a camera phone as it is a camera with a phone attached.

Thank you garublador! Man without some of you guys to help out on this thread I would probably slam my head on my desk from frustration

Frustration that you caused by not admitting when you're wrong.

I can't be wrong. AT&T disabled the feature. It can't be used, at All.
None of those places accept NFC in my state. Here, the feature is useless other than using tech tiles, and I own a total of zero tiles.

Of course, you have to be on the carrier (sprint) that supports it, or have a nexus device.

That is not at all what NFC is. AT&T didn't disable it on any phone, and NFC doesn't need to be "accepted" to be used.

return_0 is correct. AT&T and Verizon don't allow Google Wallet, but they didn't disable NFC. But, IMO, NFC payments won't catch on until Apple implements it, which will probably be never.
