It's a band-aid, not a solution. Turning off features is not a solution.
Easy. But you need to read more about photography to get answer. How an 8mp can outshine a 13mp on the exact same subject and circumstances is baffling.
I was being sarcastic. Parroting DroidArmy's idea that higher megapixels = better camera.Do you care to site any sources for that "fact?" I'm going to guess you can't because it's flat out wrong. You won't have the same digital zoom capabilities with a smaller MP camera, but you can certainly make a camera with a higher MP rating take way worse pictures than one with a lower MP rating, especially when you take the lens into account. Zooming in on a crappy picture won't help much.
I agree that he's way off base with his analysis of the S4 camera compared to the iPhone 4 and 4S cameras, though. Pretty much every reviewer worth listening to lists the S4 camera as about as good as the iPhone 5 camera.
No. That was also a bandaid. The iPhone 4 antenna issue fix was called a "solution" not a "band aid". So, by that logic, this is a "solution". It all depends on how you classify it
I take it you were unamused by last year's Samsung ads suggesting as much. There is certainly more than a kernel of truth in that observation, however, which is why the ad was so popular -- and worked to devastating effect. So too is there truth in the observation that it is the preferred platform of clueless old fuddy-duddies. I recently attended a conference at which the majority of attendees belonged to a certain professional class renowned for their technological out-of-datedness, if not ineptness. Most of them had iPhones.
Have you been living under a rock?
We get the Amazon App Store as a Play Store alternative, Google Play has what I need too, and Wi-Fi syncing? How about launching the Play Store on your PC and sending a command to your phone to download that app from there?
Sorry for the mini-rant. But trust me. Android has changed A TON since the T-Mobile G1.
Without iTunes? Online from any computer or ANY phone? No you can't
I think you're giving up because you realize I'm right. Apple is behind, and if you've read any decent article online most people would agree. The S4 upgrade? Pretty big compared to the s3 within reason. And the iPhone upgrade was big, it just didn't bring many new not already seen things to the table. That's what I'm talking about when I say minimal. And I do accept other opinions, when they provide accurate information to back it up and look at the big picture
Have the opposite experience. My diehard apple friends are loving the picture quality on my s4. They are diehards but they are fair too.
How an 8mp can outshine a 13mp on the exact same subject and circumstances is baffling.
You wanna know what goes through my mind when I read your posts? "oh god, not this guy again". I don't mean that personally, it's just you don't understand what I'm saying and we're wasting tons of time.
Apple has been releasing very little we haven't already seen. That's due to their stupid release dates, android beats them to it. That doesn't mean the technology is old by any means, but we have already seen it.
No, if the Galaxy s5 doesn't increase its screen size it won't matter. That's because it's already PLENTY LARGE, something that Apple doesn't understand. This is why people wanted a bigger screen, they're just too Damn small on the iPhones.
Nope, the iPhone will have its processor power beat by the new exynos chip. And mine doesn't studder or lag because the animations option IS A SOLUTION.
No, the camera isn't better. The one on the Galaxy s4 and the 3 beat it by a mile. 8 mexapixel vs 13 on the S4, the s4 wins. It could have all of Apple's optimizations, but it doesn't have the specs.
The fingerprint scanner is gimmicky, it's rarely used. I had one on my laptop and an old phone I had, they're absolutely worthless . It was a mistake, that's why most companies gave up on it
In this particular situation Pappy my point still stands. I'm sorry, that's the way it is.
A 16gb C goes for $549 and that's supposed to be cheap? Heard Apple stock took a big ol dump b/c Apples failed to provide a cheap phone.
This is a ridiculous statement. Even though they added the brushed look on the Pebble Blue, it wasn't to make it not look like plastic. It's unbelievable what people do and convince themselves of to justify their blind hatred for a company. If Samsung released a phone that was identical to the iPhone 5C, they'd be ridiculed non stop. They never apologized for using plastic, but what they did do was try to make it still appealing to the eye. Now you're trying to say it's a terrible thing to try and make a plastic phone look nice. Talk about senseless demonizing. I swear Apple could put TouchWiz on their next iPhone and some of you would say that it was the greatest skin ever.
I could see you being upset if they told everyone the Note 3 and 10.1 was genuine leather, but they didn't. They said the feel of it was to simulate the feel of an actual bound notebook. Who gives a flying shiz if you like it? Just don't buy it. But do yourself a favor and don't put a trident in their hand and horns on their head and try to spin it to make them out to be some terrible con-artist company that's trying to fool everyone. You find me ONE person who saw the Pebble Blue or White S3 and was deceived into thinking it was not plastic and I will agree with you (I'll also think they're the dumbest person alive).

It's a solution that's been proven to work, why can't you Apple fans see that?
I know specs aren't everything, but in this particular situation my point still stands. Yes, one to measure against, but nothing the s4 or Note 3 has to worry about. Sorry, Apple doesn't make the best cameras anymore.
