Congrats, also I'm pretty sure you bought it some third party seller on Amazon. You have to be careful when buying from Amazon. Always look for sold and shipped by Amazon listing.


For example, below is the official US unlocked version. Not AT&T unlocked or some messed up phone sold by third party seller. Don't get tempted to buy some listing just because it's cheaper. Just some tips in case you aren't aware of this.

Odin/Frija Tools/Flashing Your S24

Making a sticky like I do normally. Updated Frija has Auto mode Link tutorial:

This is the steps :

Windows computer needed

Latest Odin can Google it from XDA Forums and download the latest should be Odin 3.14.1 / and Frija tool or samfirm (i usually download both)

Download samfirm v0.4.1 tool and frija, extract it with 7zip.

You will extract files for Odin prince comsey 3.14.1once download with 7zip and will do same for firmware with 7zip .

Put your model number then region and select check for updates , then download the FIRMWARE , extract the FIRMWARE with 7zip.

There will be 4 files after you extract the firmware

AP

CP

CSC

Each of those files will go in Odin when you open to the corresponding slots

Home slot don't put anything

CSC USE HOME CSC FIILE TO SAVE DATA /THIS ONLY GOING BETWEEN CARRIER FIRMWARE OR IF YOUR ON UNLOCKED GOING BETWEEN UNLOCKED FIRMWARE



connect your phone with cable to computer , once the files are in its slots hit start, once done you'll see pass in Odin and it will reboot

*Make sure you put phone in download mode
*If dont see your phone connected in Odin change cables or ports in computer .
*Never disconnect the cable in middle of flashing.

In short as per my understanding it should go as

Model number: SM-S928U
Region: XAA
Sorry for being annoying really don't know what to do

Edit: okay so just let frija do everything and follow odin steps

Frija now has Auto mode which will get the model and CSC for you just downloaded the firmware as it will be the latest from Samsung server, then follow my steps to put in Odin using Home CSC instead regular so it doesn't factory reset

Yes if you use regular CSC it will factory reset

Also when you download the firmware from Frija make sure it's not same build number as yours if it is that means there wasn't an update yet

@mustang7757 hi i downloaded everything but frija isnt working its showing me this error but when i change it to U1 it finds the firmware please help
