How would I go about switchin from aosp 2.3 CM7 rom back to stock+xinonia 2.2? It's different recoveries and different settings. Would I just flash the recovery the same way I flashed it the first time? Also, with aosp, I had to clear out more settings in clockwork, data, system etc. So how and would I need to do that in the thunder recovery once I get it flashed? Thanks.

edit: Better yet, can I use clockwork 3.0.0.6 to flash stock+xinonia 2.2 rom with no problems? ie data/mms? Would be much simpler if I knew it would flash with clockwork. I'll make a nand and try it in the mean time.

I had that same issue yesterday and with the magic of GOOGLE I figured it out myself, an amazing program called DroidExplorer has been developed like a year ago and right from your connected adb pc you can (with a GUI) flash a new recovery (CWMA Xionia) and proceed to boot into recovery then flash the 2.2 rom. Presto with minimal risk (as flashing different recoveries is considered risky) you can flash back to your pre-clockworkmod recovery and go back to Froyo...

JUST MAKE SURE YOU WIPE FREAKIN EVERYTHING!! System, Cache and then go to mounts and go down and wipe system again for good measure.. if you dont you WILL be sorry..

So basically clear everythin in clockwork, all caches and the same mounts as I did when installin the mod BEFORE I flash a new rom. Was about to try to clear everythin and try flashin stock+xinonia 2.2 in clockwork, but I guess I'll try flashin back to the old recov. Reason I asked was because the rom doesnt indicate a type of recovery it needs to work. Usually it does. So I thought maybe it'd work on the new clockwork instead of only just the first recov made for the V. What recovery are you talkin about though, (CWMA Xinonia)? and what version

edit: Got it workin, didn't need to wipe all the mounts that I did for clockwork when switchin back to thunder. Everythin seems to be workin fine so far.
