ZOMG...I've been looking for this ever since I installed CM6, glad to finally have the new market again!!! FYI for anyone with an OG Droid running CM6, the apk doesn't work so just flash the .zip

Just got my Evo shift yesterday and this is the version that was pre installed.

there wasnt an "upgrade" to uninstall, and the market did not have an uninstall option.

i flashed the attached zip, and i still cannot download. also, some apps i already have downloaded are not showing as downloaded although they are active and installed.

the download icon shows up in the status bar for half a second then goes away. i do not get a "download unsuccessful" prompt.

any idea?

yup, still cant download or update...

also tried the logging out of google talk tip. nothing.

I have a Kyros tablet, it didn't come with Market. Am I able to install it? If so, how to do I do it? Installing it OTA with the apk file won't work.

if one file doesn't work try the other, the zip file is only for rooted phones

Woohoo! Now I have the new market app on my HTC Desire... Big change from v 1.8x

For reference:
Needed to install zip in recovery mode.
HTC Desire in Australia
Modaco v9 Rom

You need to be rooted to use the zip
