New Droid X Rom = Blur-less Froyo

Hey guys, i didn't see this posted so i decided to go ahead and post it, there is a new Droid X rom. Its blur-less Froyo. I installed it over FlyX i kept everything except all the blur-crap and bloatware. I'm getting 1400-1650 on Quadrant so in other words its really ****ing fast. Heres a link copy and paste or click it .

I already downloaded it and ran it. Seems like many people were having calendar sync problems, me included. I'm back to FlyX until the Tranquility bugs get worked out. Looks promising though.

Birdman is also working on a blur-less ROM. I really can't wait for that.

Hmm, I get 1550 on my stock Froyo with root, and non-deodexed. I get the feeling that removing the bloat and blur doesn't improve performance as much as people think it does...

If anything, its the deodexing that most likely is the cause. I mean if you're running LauncherPro/ADW you're not even seeing Blur anymore. Just remove everything from your Blur home launcher before installing either of the custom Launchers and you should be fine.

I got 1250 on mine this morning, not rooted, no apps removed, just stock 2.1 with Launcher Pro Plus. I also have NO issues with mine. Is moving along smoothly with no complaints.

Thanks, I just saw that too. He updated his first post as well stating that he'll put out a patch sometime today.

I'm just fine with FlyX so I don't even know if I'll load it up.

BTW, I don't think that the goal of this ROM is to get higher quadrant scores. It's for the people that don't want BLUR on their devices.
