New Nexus 4 purchase: Anyone get a shipping notification or tracking number?

ordered at 8:32:5x -> received confirmation email -> state "completed" -> limbo -> today my order in Play store changed date to 19.

I've ordered this phone because my old phone is dropping calls and I have one way audio issues. I didn't call CSR, just send an email - no response.

Whatever.... craigslist -> search -> iPhone 5

If it doesn't arrive by tomorrow then I can truly complain. Tomorrow will be the 5th business day and when I ordered the play store said delivered within 3-5 business days

I don't understand why people feel like they need to "threaten" google by saying they are going to get an iPhone. I bet that 99% of the people that say they are going with another brand (WP or Apple) will indeed wait for their phone, or simply go with another flavour of android.

UPS just came!!!!... with my Wii U Pro Controller.

No Nexus for me today... lets hope for tomorrow or wednesday

Agreed, I'm still mad, but I've only sent one email. I'll probably be more mad tomorrow, but I still believe this phone is worth it. Especially for me with a limited budget.

ordered a n4, n10, and bumper had no ordering issues should have been near the front of the line but all I have is the confirmation email google sent out as soon as I ordered
play store says date nov 13th, and Shipping estimate: November 15, 2012

numerous emails and 1 call now they are sending out a bs response within 3 weeks this is getting so old I thought 3 weeks were the people who got the back order email which I have not....

Not really. After my experience with Android on HTC, my next Android phone must be from Google. If they are not able to sell it to me, I don't have another option than look elsewhere. And I'm not so close minded to not try another OS (iOS or WP).

Same with me, I will not use another android phone unless its from google.

If not then Im going to jump over to WP and the Lumia 920. The camera on that phone is amazing and also does 360 degree panoramas like photoshpere

I am so disgusted, I don't know if I will be able to open the box when (if) it finally arrives without throwing it across the room.

The fun and anticipation of having a new toy to play with is long past. I may just eBay them and start over in a few weeks after I have had a chance to regain my sanity.

I might just ebay mine too ( if it ever comes )

I just got off the phone after a long conversation with a CSR Supervisor.

Here is what I was told, take it for what it's worth (which I caution isn't much):

If you don't have your phone, you will receive it within the three week period from the date of the initial order.
Forget the "you'll get a tracking number in the next couple of days." They flat-out told me they have no way to determine if that's true.
They claim the hangup is with getting the order 'charged on their end.' they claim if your order gets charged (not-preauthorized) then your phone will ship. (I question the validity of this).
There's nothing they will do until the three week period has expired. Period. Not escalate to a specialist, etc.
They admitted they have absolutely no way to know when someone's phone will go out and even admitted any CSR telling you a date or 'next couple of days' is completely wrong. There is no way for them to know that information (their words).

So, sit back, enjoy your holiday and come back around December 4. You might get your phone before that, you might not.

I feel like my searching for shipping updates for my N4 (ordered 11:34:22) is turning into an elongated Sunday of checking my fantasy football team scores. I called CSR last week and took them at their word, even laughed with the guy when he asked what he could help me with - I said "same thing as everyone else calling". My date was changed to Nov 19, whatever that is supposed to indicate. Here's my take on it - Google is loving the press and demand, though they royally screwed up the ordering. Not to be able to provide a tracking number or update almost a week after an order was placed is not a good business practice. They have that information somewhere and I'm of the mind that Google should be on par with the best when it comes to information tracking.

All of that said, I'm ok with waiting as long as I'm going to get the phone even though this is giving me ADD and I have no patience. If the phone is as good as advertised, that's what ultimately matters. At some point most of us will laugh at this and use it as a "war story". If it happens to get it del'd, I'll post it here.

If this is true, then screw you google.... go to hell... I'm picking my Lumia up today...

Now THIS I can believe. All other CSR responses seemed to be a "satisfy the customer and get them off the phone, I tire of these calls."

Of course, none of us REALLY knows what this means, but my Play Store page just updated to November 19, 2012 and it still says "Complete" in the status column.

Grrrr....
