I will assume samsung will continue to release galaxy s phones for ALL carriers. That was why they had record sales last year, even with all the froyo update backlash.

I want an Epic 4g 2.
Slide out QWERTY
1ghz Dual core Orion
4.3 Super Amoled plus
Great camera quality (if its anything like my Epic)
2.3 gingerbread
That's what I'm hoping for
I had battery problems when I first got my Evo, couldn't last 5hrs with constant use during the day. This was my remedy
1.Got a spare hero battery and an external battery charger (the Evo actually doesn't charge the phone correctly which is why there is such a huge drop when you first unplug ur phone)
2. Rooted and running a custom rom
Now I get over 8-10hrs battery and this is with streaming music pretty much all day at work
For a Pre owner 5 hours is a dream![]()
I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm kind of nervous about what I hear about the battery life on the Evo. If they release an Evo style phone with some spec bumps and a much longer lasting battery then I am totally sold.
I'd consider an Epic 4G 2, but it would need to be considerably thinner. The thing is just way too fat for my taste. I'd rather have no physical keyboard then a thicker phone.
If you're on Sprint then the better phone to have is the EVO undoubtedly.
I can't believe it. No Evo 2 announced. No mention of Sprint during all of MWC as far as I've seen.
Same thing happened last year so I'll save u the heartache. Sprint will announce their devices at CTIA in march. MWC is a global event anyway and is usually focused on non-US market announcements. I also think they have less "cool" handsets to announce (hence Echo...) so they have to wait till where it will have the biggest impact
