New update now downloading 7/9/13 11:00 AM ET

The "i" is blue on mine, without update... also my mobile data went out today around the time of the first rollout. No root or fancy tricks on my S4, called ATT customer service and they asked I turn the phone off for "setting" adjustments (I'm out of touch since messing with a SonyW810)... sooo realized there is an update today and found this thread.

I have been getting the interrupted message for a couple days. I even tried changing the date, but it does the same thing. I finally did a factory reset and now it says that my software is current. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue.

I have a couple questions.

I have my phone rooted using motochopper and I am using the Foldermount app to have application databases stored on SD card instead of the phone.

Question 1

Should I unroot first? What happens if I don't?

Question 2

Will this make a conflict with Foldermount?

Question 3

Does the update allow you to store application databases on the SD card or just the app itself?


I'm thinking I just need to back up, unroot and factory reset before the update to avoid any potential issues. I think the new update would be great for moving apps to SD and if it does not allow moving app databases I hope Foldermount still works for that. I'm about to contact the developer to ask about that.

I'm in the same boat. I've changed my date/time settings all the way through July 22nd and still haven't seen the update. I've only had my phone for a couple of weeks (S4 32GB) but coming from the Apple camp this update process is very frustrating. What's with AT&T limiting you to only checking once per 24 hours? Is there a method to their madness? Have any other 32 GB owners received the updates yet?

I received the ota update i went to about phone setting and i had access to the 357mb waiting to download but you have to be on wifi. 32gb S4 on ATT

The first time I tried to get the update, I got the "update was interrupted" message very shortly after it started the update process. Ever since, every time I try to update I get the message that my phone is up to date. Anyone else still having trouble downloading the update? Anyone have any ideas?

My current Build Number is JDQ39.l337UCUAMDB.

I've only tried OTA, not via Kies.

Still no update here for me either I went on att page and they took the new firmware for our phones down and now the only one showing is the one we have now AMDL the AMF3 isn't showing on AT&T no more

Try going to the application manager ->all apps-> att software updater and clear its cache. Then try downloading again. You must be on wifi.

do this:
you don't have to wait 24 hrs. change the time on your phone (settings>more tab>date and time>uncheck 'automatic date and time' and set the time to current time+24 hrs).

I haven't receive the update notification, and I've checked three days now and it says the phone has current version I337UCUAMDL....Did I have to wait more or call ATT?
