Nexus 4: Net10, can send MMS but can not receive MMS

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 (originally T-Mobile) now on Net10 AT&T towers. I am having this same problem. I can receive and send SMS, browse the internet, and I can send MMS, but I cannot receive MMS. I have been using NET10 for about 3 months and MMS worked most of the time. I noticed that the problem started when I changed my plan from their $40 to $50 plan (because the $50 plan has LTE and the $40 is only HSPA so they use different APN). I have tried all the different bits of advice mentioned in this thread but with no luck. Spent a few hours on the phone over several days with Net10 support and finally they said they could not guarantee that every feature works as expected on their service.

FYI, my wife uses StraightTalk and when I insert her SIM with the same APN, everything works.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated. I thought maybe some of the info I submitted might help others figure this problem out.

Having the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy S4 on Straight Talk/AT&T. Had the phone for a month. Everything works fine with the exception of being able to receive pictures with text messages. I've tried a number of different APN settings, without success. Straight Talk customer service doesn't provide any service. Have used their stock messaging, hangouts and GoSMS. No luck with those either. Can anyone help?

After switching my droid from st to net 10 i went thru all apns finally found one that wrked but after 2 weeks it was like they just stopped me from getting pics again i could send but not receive but the hangouts dwn load over road everything aand now everything works again a friend went with the whatsapp and it did the same so other than spending forever trying to convince s.t. or net10 its not ur fone try these but they are a bit slower for some reason :)

I have tried every single different setting on here and still can't receive SMS!! Very frustrating; the closest I get is a notice that I have a mms but then it won't download

This is the same situation I faced and worked for two months to try to resolve... My final solution was to switch to Go Phone, although it could just as well have been AIO Wireless.

Anyone have anymore ideas on this? I don't really want to switch from Net10 but if I can't figure out receiving pictures I may have too

I finally figured out how to fix this! You have to get a new sim card from Net10 or StraightTalk and switch your service over to the new sim. I switched my service over to a new sim and I can now receive picture MMS with the settings that are on Net10's site. Once you switch it may take a little bit for the MMS to start working but it did on mine. Hope this helps.

There is a fix that works for this issue that does not involve getting a new SIM or switching over. If you are having this issue and you have AT&T BYOP SIM here is what you do...

1. Delete ALL APNs you have.
2. Enter this and ONLY this....
NAME: Net10-T
APN: wap.tracfone
PROXY: leave blank
PORT: 8080
MMSC: http://mms.tracfone.com
MMS PROXY: leave blank
MMS PORT: leave blank

3. Save and select this APN
4. Power off your phone
5. Go back to your APNs and make this one... Do not change or add anything of your own. Make it exactly this...
NAME: Net10
APN: tfdata
MMSC: http://mms-tf.net
MMS PROXY: mms3.tracfone.com
MMS PORT: 80

6. Save and select this APN and delete the Net10-T one
7. Turn on Airplane mode for 15 seconds then off
8. Try using MMS or downloading message

P.S. If you are on T-Mobile BYOP SIM basically reverse this. Delete all and enter second APN first then first APN second then delete the second one/the one you entered first before powering off your phone.

Still don't work.. HTC one X (att moved to net-10 with byop sim) I even installed the go sms app with no luck...

Here are the NET10 Apn Settings! I worked hard to get the right settings! I spent days getting this fixed! Both MMS & Internet work! Enter these settings & these settings ONLY!

Name: Net10
APN: wap.tracfone
APN Type: Default, MMS, Supl

MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com/
MMS Proxy: mms2.tracfone.com
MMS Port: 80

Thank you! I changed the APN to default, mms, an supl while on the phone with NET10 CS, and it worked! They told me it wouldn't make a difference.

I just got a GS2 skyrocket from Net10's partner...

I can send mms, get 4g lte...but I can't get MMS picture messages.

I've tried every setting suggested here and still, nothing works.
