Man of my friends is not patient for waiting 27th order and decide to re-order on Dec. 5/6. Binggo, we get our Nexus 4 shipping mail at same day. Linke me, I have my Nexus 4 just take less 72 hours (UPS ship on Dec. 6 and receive on Dec. 7). Therefore, we just cancel the order made in Nov. 27.
It is real world Google grant me.
I got off the phone with a rep and he said they had a glitch on the 30th (probably the whole week but he only said the 30th) when I placed my order and that the orders got stuck on hold, that's why ppl that ordered this week are getting theirs already. He was escalating it to a shipping specialist and refunding my shipping but the call got cut off while he was doing that and I was on hold :/. Their phone lines are pretty jammed at the moment, probably from ppl calling pissed about the ppl that ordered this week. If I see no movement Monday I'll just place another order.
Just got this email:
"Thank you for contacting Google. Our call must have been disconnected. I do apologize for the inconvenience i know this can be frustrating at times. Were doing our best to resolve your issue! I consulted a shipping specialist about your refund for the shipping and about getting your order out of the chargeable state. It takes about 5 to 7 business days for the specialist to get in touch with me. Thank you for contacting me today have a great weekend!"
lol 5-7 business days means you're not going to get the phone any faster than if you just waited for it to ship on it's own.
Could the difference in ship time have anything to do with having it linked to an account or not linked to a particular account?
Nov 27 ordered 16 GB, 2 - 3 week delivery. Linked to my account. Have not heard anything...
