Nexus 4 Ordered on November 27: Order Status and Tracking

Man of my friends is not patient for waiting 27th order and decide to re-order on Dec. 5/6. Binggo, we get our Nexus 4 shipping mail at same day. Linke me, I have my Nexus 4 just take less 72 hours (UPS ship on Dec. 6 and receive on Dec. 7). Therefore, we just cancel the order made in Nov. 27.

It is real world Google grant me.

And how did you cancel an order thats been placed for weeks?
 
Well there is a problem with Google somewhere......
i called their customer service for devices and tried to know the status of my order, but to my astonishment he inquired whether i received a confirmation mail for the order, when i said yes, he said then on those days the status was 6-7 weeks so order would be shipped within that time.

even my cousin ordered on 5th December and he received his order on 7th. that was strange but some s happening.......
 
to cancel previous order just inform your card company to NOT verify the next authentication for the payment request from google.
 
My wife ordered a Nexus 4 for my birthday. She placed the order on November 27th but mistakenly asked to have it send to our PO Box. Google predictably cancelled the order. She reordered the N4 on Dec.5th with a shipping address at the college where we both teach. We have no clue how or why but the N4 arrived yesterday, December 7th. No complaints believe me but we are still both wondering how.
Great phone btw. 'Still learning about it but so far it's great! Good luck to all.

I got off the phone with a rep and he said they had a glitch on the 30th (probably the whole week but he only said the 30th) when I placed my order and that the orders got stuck on hold, that's why ppl that ordered this week are getting theirs already. He was escalating it to a shipping specialist and refunding my shipping but the call got cut off while he was doing that and I was on hold :/. Their phone lines are pretty jammed at the moment, probably from ppl calling pissed about the ppl that ordered this week. If I see no movement Monday I'll just place another order.

Thanks for the update; I'm still awaiting shipping notification; I ordered on the 27th w/a 2-3 week shipping time frame. Hopefully it will ship on Monday; otherwise I will also reorder.

lol 5-7 business days means you're not going to get the phone any faster than if you just waited for it to ship on it's own.
 
I should note that when I ordered mine it was under the 7+ week window and the rep never even alluded to it, so they seem to be giving people exaggerated shipping times to help cover their butts for their system problems as they look like they are aware of those that jumped in front of us who placed orders earlier. So I would say to call and ask how come people that ordered theirs this week got them first. Hell I live in Puerto Rico and we had another layer of issues just to order the phone on top of those everyone else is having.
 
Could the difference in ship time have anything to do with having it linked to an account or not linked to a particular account?

Nov 27 ordered 16 GB, 2 - 3 week delivery. Linked to my account. Have not heard anything...

So....in other words..people with a shipping time frame of 5-6 weeks or 6-7 weeks are picking up the Nov 27-30th people's phones..and we are waiting shipment from Korea on the 5-7 weekers phones for us 2-3 weekers....

okay, okay...makes perfect sense........to ship it that way
