Haha, that is so true. And that's what made Apple unique in it's own way (although I don't like them that much). If something bad happens once (or at least when Steve Jobs was around), it would never happen again. Sadly, we can't say the same about google, who don't realize that having a bunch of engineers won't help when you're trying to run a proper supply chain!

To people who've emailed the play store customer service, about how long did it take for them to respond? this is getting insane

To all those who are posting that their order really has shipped, can you also post what delivery bracket you were in (1-2, 2-3 weeks, etc), and when you got the initial shipping notice. If possible, when your credit card was charged would be good, too.

I got my shipping notification today (2-3 week bracket). Shows in transit from KY with an estimated delivery on Thursday. Looks like I got overnight, not 2-day

I called yesterday, and the day before yesterday. Both calls were supposedly escalated and I was told I'd get a reply in 24-48 hours. That hasn't happened, and I'm now oustide the 48 hours span of the first call.

I was with the 1-2 weeks group contacted Google Customer service and got this:

"Thank you for contacting The Google Play Support Team. I understand that you've placed an order for a Nexus 4g and would like to know when your device will be shipped out to you. I can understand how this can be a pain and I'll be happy to assist you today.

However, I've checked your account and saw that you have a UPS tracking number but there's no location attached, just a shipping label. I have consulted with our shipping team at Google to figure out where your device is and when it will be shipped out to you, a response may take up to 24hrs. I am sorry for any problems this may have caused."

I have a feeling the damn thing never shipped in the first place

Just got a UPS MyChoice alert--my 16GB Nexus 4 is scheduled for delivery tomorrow! (All times EST)

• 11/27 5:42pm - Ordered and got a 1-2 week shipping estimate.

ordered on the 27, on nov 29 i got chargerd and google said it was shipped out.

dec 5 and there is still no update when i click on the UPS tracking number, WTF IS THIS?

also i was charged like 13$ for the UPS 2nd air shipping, which means i should have received my device by now god damn

I ordered on the 27th got my first shipping notice this morning and had an original delivery expectancy from Google of 1-2 weeks. Looking more and more like it is actually shipping.

Welp, I'm pretty sure they're going to ignore my email then

if the 2-3 weekers get theirs before me, i WILL make sure i get my shipping refunded at least, even if i have to troll them. this combined with prematurely charging cards and sending false shipping notices is leverage.

Note: not hating on you 2-3 weekers, its just wrong that us 1-2 weekers got our orders in first (which took A LOT of effort) and then end up getting it after you guys
