Nexus 4 Ordered on November 27: Order Status and Tracking

I wish google learn from Amazon an try to outsource the online store and keep it linked directed with Google HQ.

Outsourcing maybe cheaper and sometime efficient but sometimes it maybe a disaster if you cant handle it the correct way

What do you mean by play order and how did you check it?

I don't understand this honestly. I was pretty bummed that I couldn't get in the first wave. Then irritated that that I missed the first wave of the second shipment. Now hearing that some on the first wave didn't even receive any shipping info.

This is just a luck of the draw type thing. Even though I am happy that I should receive my phone tomorrow. I can say that I do feel ya'll pain.

Ordered: 30 November, 7:12:35 PM UTC-8
Shipment: When I clicked was 7-8 weeks
Tracking info: Not received yet

What would you think if the 2-3 week people get their phone in 2 days from now but the 1-2 week people wind up waiting longer? All that battling it out in the google store on the 27th for nothing!!!
Should be no surprise as the same thing happen to the 13th customers and the 27th 1-2 weekers.

I'll check in with my status since i've been foilowing xda/android central forums in regards to the google play fiasco...

Missed the first wave on Nov 13th...(spammed the site the entire day) :(

Finally managed to get one during the second wave...
Order date: Nov 27, 2012 3:12:08 PM PST
Shipment: 2-3 weeks =/

google charged my card 11/27 then immediately removed the charges...now the charge is showing on my bank statement. (google wallet status has changed as well)

I was a bit worried about the ybod that some were stating...thus, i received an email this morning about 1am stating the order has been shipped

Checked UPS:
Louisville, KY, United States 12/05/2012 3:55 P.M. Departure Scan
12/05/2012 11:22 A.M. Origin Scan
United States 12/04/2012 4:31 P.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

Looks like i finally lucked out...for those of you who are still waiting, just be patient...

I'm a bit bitter at this point due to the fiasco that users including myself had to endure...

stay patient, eventually we will receive our devices... :(

If I find out that that I have to wait ~5 weeks for the phone I was told would ship in 1-2 weeks, you better believe I will rage.

Well, I'm a little ashamed, but my 2 phones are apparently on track for delivery tomorrow. I really assumed they were padding by a week or so and they would show up around Christmas as I had a 4-5 week delivery window.

I have no other choice than to label the "estimates" for shipping date as complete and utter bull . I literally, and I'm not joking here, had my order completed in less than 5 seconds as I was spamming CTRL +F5 and the Add to Cart option appeared.

Hope everyone has theirs show up quickly!

This, combined with an earlier post theorizing that Goog anticipated a delivery and got the labels made in advance, actually makes a lot of sense.

When the phones actually arrived, they couldn't send them to the people who got the 'accidental' notices because ours had already been 'shipped'. So just to get the phones out of the warehouse and into users hands, they just shipped real phones to the next people in line. Sucks for us who ordered early.

Who knew ordering early would make us get our phones even later. :(

Completely agree with this, and so does Google. I called and they always have very nice support. I said I understand it was going to take 1-2 weeks, but you emailed me saying it is shipped, and now the UPS page shows an expected delivery. He said they will research this, and I kindly asked for my shipping back. He agreed I should get it back, and will look into this matter for me.
