Nexus 5 owners with T-Mobile $30 Prepaid Plan Thread

The T-Mobile Nexus 5 has no extra anything installed on it. It's the same as the one on the Play Store except that T-Mobile charges $400 for the 16 gb and does not carry the 32.

It doesn't seem like it's sold out when I loaded the page. Perhaps you are looking at the Nexus 6 order page?

I am looking at Nexus 5, but only 32gb. IT looks like they have 16gb in stock, but not 32gb. Do you have a link that says otherwise?

Oh, wow.. I totally missed that. Thanks. I saw the price and assumed it was the 32gb. If I wanted 16gb, I could get it from the play store for $50 cheaper, obviously. But I am looking for 32gb.

I think the number can be ported - contact T-Mobile and see what they say. Let us know what happens.

I've had my mobile number for over 20 years and currently have an AT&T plan. I also have a Nexus 5 on a T-M $30 prepaid plan. I plan to dump the AT&T plan after my sisters move to their own plans and just go with the T-M plan. Is it best to port my current AT&T number to a new $30 prepaid plan and cancel my current plan or port my AT&T number to my current T-M plan?

The only reason I have the AT&T plan is because my sisters use a lot of voice minutes. I use less than 50 minutes a month, so the $30 prepaid plan is perfect for me.

TIA & Regards....JL

I need more data and hate to be looking to leave this plan of the past few years. Is metro pcs unlimited data for $60 worth it?? Also looking at the prepaid $80 tmo, does it include the 5gb tethering?

I truly hate bringing an almost year old thread up from the grave- I really do. I just have a very complicated situation and would like some insight.

So around November last year I ended my $30 line with T-Mobile and went to AT&T's GoPhone service which costed $15 more. Wasn't a big deal at the time, but funds are tight and T-Mobile has improved massively.

So here I am today with two sim cards. One was the old one previously used on my HTC One Mini (unlocked, micro sim) and one is a sim that T-Mobile shipped out here to give service to a Galaxy S6 (which already came with a sim) and had it's own number on it. The sim however was cancelled, and there is no service on it.

So I've tried using both sims, and neither will activate. I called T-Mobile and the previously used Sim card will now be able to be used. It'll be whitelisted in about 14 hours (I'm a night owl and will probably be waking up an hour prior.)

So here I am with a $30 reusable card from Wally World and a sim card that will be activated.

But, there is no activation card.

I basically want the $30 plan on an old sim card without an activation card. Will customer service be able to help me tomorrow when I call them and be able to hook me up with the $30 plan?
