Button placement was my biggest gripe the first week... but I actually do use this thing almost exclusively one handed... but after a week I've now adjusted my grip to such that I now naturally have my index finger on the dimple in the back and my thumb is naturally right above the power button now.... that first week I was constantly powering it on and off by mistake.... I was constantly saying to myself that was stupid.. I wish they were back up where they use to be......

Now that dimple is my natural place to position my index finger and my pinkie goes right where the USB port is and I've gotten a great balance... I don't grip the phone on the sides anymore like I use to with my Nexus 5... I grip it more on the front and back of the device as it's more comfortable now....(or for me it is)

I tried to mimic that holding position and got a cramp LOL.

Index finger in the dimple - check
Pinkey under the USB port - check
Thumb ABOVE the power button??? No way.

My situation is probably unique as not many here probably manage a dairy farm. When I'm out and about I keep it in my back pocket and when sitting down its sitting somewhere next to me. At work I have been carrying it in my spigen ultra hybrid case in my back pocket. Haven't felt safe that way since I purchased my N6 but the holster and belt clip case I ordered wasn't available yet and in fact just shipped today. Once that arrives my phone will be in that case and attached to my belt at work. I've always used a otter box defender when available in the past and if not available then something comparable. A 2000 lb cow certainly outweighs me and there have been times where I've gotten knocked around a bit and my phone has went flying. Its always survived falls, water, manure.... I need something tough so that's why I haven't felt comfortable carrying it around in my back pocket. Otherwise the size doesn't bother me at all it is noticeable in front jean pockets enough to make me choose my back pocket. Really thought I was going to struggle with the size as I didn't really care for the Note 3 that I had but something about how this device fits in my hands feels better... Even though it is larger. Just my two cents ;)

I hold mine with a string and fly it behind me like a kite! Seriously though it's not that HUGE of a difference from a note or m8 , it's not like the phone is a foot taller it's barely even an inch larger! 1 inch people, take out a ruler and see how much 1 inch is, not much right?

Agree. Stupid to move them lower. Not like anyone is going to buy that this is a one handed device.

Even using 1 hand the buttons got hit by my fingers where they would normally rest. You either grab the phone more towards the top, or now even lower to the bottom which both are uncomfortable for a phone that size. Not sure who google tested it on before producing it, but clearly they forgot about that part.

Probably no one.
