Nexus 6P - Android 6.0.1 Rolling Out Starting Today

Just got my update - On verizon in NJ

I received the update notification today around 2pm while in NYC for the day, I have AT&T

Still waiting....on T-Mobile in Ohio if it matters

Got mine today around 3PM in Boston, MA. I have been checking every two hours or so for the last day and around that time, I picked up my phone and saw that update.

Nexus 6P

Just got the 6.0.1 update on my 6P in the S.F. Bay Area.
75.5 MB download - No BFD so far.

Got it in DFW. Updated without issue. ATT. No issues with LTE.

Got it in Phoenix. On ATT. No issues with LTE. May have made my bluetooth-car situation worse. Other than that, all good.

City/State doesn't matter. :)

I'll get it when I get it, no rush as its running flawless ... amazing how impatient some people are, lol ... we still get updates WAY earlier than everyone else, but it's not instant, hence the word "rollout"

Nexus 7 (2013) still waiting.
Nexus 9 got it 2 days ago
Nexus 5 got it 2 days ago
Nexus 6p still waiting.

I was surprised that I got it on Fi as early as I did. It is a pretty small update. Haven't really noticed any improvements. But then again my issues are BT based and signal quality. But it isn't Motorola and I am on Fi.

Got it on my 6P yesterday. One problem, after update it didn't see any wifi networks and switched the auto switch to 5ghz only. About 1/2 hour later it just started working. And yes I had rebooted it early.

My WiFi randomly stops working after the update and I'm forced to turn WiFi off and back on to fix it. :(

Got mine on my Nexus 6P and Nexus 7 yesterday. Haven't noticed anything major yet.

Haven't seen the update yet, but I'm in no hurry, as my phone is working just fine (though LiteFlow is acting very wonky).

But, I have a question: I'm coming from a Verizon LG G2, and there were many, many issues with updates on that device. I got in the habit - on advice from others here at AC - of doing a FDR before any update and again after the update, and then manually reinstalling all apps. Many of us found that we had significant issues with our phones if we didn't follow this procedure.

Is anyone following such a procedure with their 6Ps? Does anyone feel it would be necessary? It would be really nice to not have to go through all that anymore.

Thanks for any info.

I have a N6 (5.1.1 ~ LMY48Y) on AT&T. I never got the 6.0 OTA; however, I did get a pop-up for the "December 2015" system update (7.1MB) yesterday. I've not installed it yet; should I?

Those of you on AT&T with a N6, that got 6.0.1, did you have 6.0 previously or 5.1.1? Did you have to do the "December 2015" system update first?

I received the notification for the OTA on my 6P Wednesday afternoon. I've not received it yet for my Nexus 5.

FWIW, I also was using Band 12 on my 6P today.
