No 4.3 update on ATT (SGH-1337)

I received two abortive updates of 4.3 on day it first was released. No more since. "Software update" tells me my phone is up to date. Kies says, "Your device's current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via Kies." The Android version in "About device" still reads 4.2.2. What can I do to get 4.3?

Hi Jeff,

It seems that Samsung and AT&T pulled the update due to problems. Unless you have to have the Galaxy Gear working on your S4 or must have Knox support, 4.3 is not that big a deal.

I wonder what happens when they re-release the "fixed" update? I mean, what about those that got the flawed update. I assume they won't be able to redownload it as their phones will be considered up to date. Only issue I've had is with Google Play Services draining the battery. I turned it off, for now.

You aren't missing much... I wish I could get rid if 4.3. Foxfi is dead, (Verizon lock screen work around doesn't work on att) S Translator opens but will not translate. I miss my g3 and ics.

My update to 4.3 has given me text issues...I can not use texting without using hangouts and I have no text tones...You text me and i have NO clue...sigh...what a pain..oh yeah and the battery gets really hot..DO NOT UPGRADE!

Nope. It's all on Samsung. They pulled the U. S. Cellular update too.

maybe Samsung and AT&T are collaborating to skip 4.3 and update to Kit Kat instead.

AT&T released a 28 MB patch file for those of us who were unfortunate enough to have downloaded the initial 4.3 update for the phone. The update brings the Build Number up to JSS15J.I337UCUEMK2.

For those of you who missed out on the initial 4.3 update because AT&T pulled it, AT&T has resumed the update to 4.3 with a new build that's the same as JSS15J.I337UCUEMK2.

Interesting bit of information. The T-Mobile Build Number for the 4.3 update for the Galaxy S4 also ends MK2.

Downloading the 28mb patch. Hope I don't regret it. Lots of apps crash since original 4.3 update, so it can't get much worse.

Got the patch as well. Supposedly, they claim "call reliability" has been improved. Not sure what they're talking about here, but I guess we'll see as we test it tonight.

I still haven't gotten the 4.3 update at all. Changed my time and date all the way to Dec 22nd. Will it be pushed to me or will I have to keep checking?

I've tried updating twice and once got to 200+ mb and then it quits????
It's 727mb long....this is crazy.

I have given up on that update, remove the sim from S4 and gone back to Note 3. IDK if it will update without the AT&T sim installed. Will try later on wifi access only.

Changing the date works. After 12 tries with update interrupted, the download completed in about 30 minutes, install another 30. No issues so far
