No autoconnect for "sign-in is required" wifi networks

Hi,
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S4 AT&T Kitkat (4.4.2) phone.
The phone connects automatically to regular known open WiFi networks just fine. However, if the open network requires a browser login (such as on most airports, at work, etc) the WiFi does not connect automatically. To some extent this makes sense, since if it would automatically connect to these networks, the data connection would get interrupted automatically until the user actively signs in via browser. Now, there are apps which actually do this sign-in process automatically and, thus, it is still desirable that the phone connects automatically to sign-in networks.

Any idea how to enable this auto-connection on sign-in networks?

Thanks in advance!

I want to know just out of curiosity why my s4 will punch through wifi pay services such as xfinity with no sign in nothing it just connects while all my other devices s6 etc have no such luck.
