Well, I do believe that it's real just waiting for me to see the theme setting in Gmail. And of course for Google to turn on dark mode again in Play store lol

Definitely starting to believe the news sites released the story way before they should have. Or, something is wrong with the theme and Googley pulled it quietly.

yeah I'm not sure what is going on. I'm waiting any day now for dark mode. Not sure what is also taking Google so long. I mean theoretically, just a server side turn on of the switch. It's not going to kill their network.

Well 99% of what I use on my pixel is beautiful, easy on the eyes, classy looking black. And I'm loving it :-D

I've been using Android since Froyo 2.2.2, and the dark theme in 10 is by far the biggest step forward in giving customers what they've really wanted for a very long time. Good job Google.... better late than never, and you did it with a bang

Nice, I’m not seeing anything yet even after the latest google app update today.
Maybe it’s coming soon along with gmail.
EDIT: about an hour later and now I seem to have a google dark mode. Love the look! Much improved over the white IMO.

Okay so I just updated my Google app nothing in dark mode for Google Assistant but hopefully it turns on soon!

I mean I keep checking the settings for my Google app settings and Gmail settings and I don't see any theming options yet.

I'll try another reboot again. I know it's server side. so I'm trying to be patient even though I'm extremely impatient. Lol.
