No Oreo update yet

I have an AT&T note 8 that I'm using on Straight Talk, and I still haven't received the Oreo update! I had an AT&T note 4, and it updated to Marshmallow when that one came out, so I don't know what the deal is. Maybe the update just hasn't reached my area? I'm in TN.

It's a combination of the area and where you are on the list for that area. They can't update 10,000 phones at once, the server would crash. So they send out a few at a time. If you happen to be at the end of the list, and there are a lot of Samsung owners in your area waiting for updates, it could take a while. (Straight Talk doesn't do updates, AT&T doesn't update phones for people who don't use AT&T, so you're getting your updates from Samsung.)

Yeah. I'm on T-mobile who released the Oreo update on Apri 1st but the joke was on us because on the 3rd they pulled it due to reasons they have yet to advise their customers. Judging by all the problems reported by those who did get it before it was pulled, I had no plans to update anyway until all the bugs were exterminated.

They did state that it was due to some bugs they didn't see in testing. They just didn't state any specific bugs.
