No Push Email On Evo Except From Gmail? Huge Plus for Palm Pre!

I'm not understanding why the OP has chosen a Google based device to push yahoo email. I think that it is well documented that yahoo has its issues on Google devices. I don't have any issues with email because I use gmail. The OP probably would have done better if he had gone to a different platform that is more yahoo friendly. Incidentally, yahoo has had its issues on other platforms too. I had a bb and yahoo wasn't the greatest. Gmail worked well though.

Lol? To you perhaps.

Agreed. I do more email on my EVO than I do media. When I do do media on my phone it's streaming, not from the built in storage. And for streaming the EVO does fine. The things it doesn't do well aren't it's fault, necessarily. Having an easy way to convert dvd's would be nice, for one, instead of having to hunt for the best codec, format, and settings to use.

I don't need the ability to use EAS or "advanced" email, but I understand that others users do and that Blackberry has the market cornered for email.

Android does need to improve email for the 20% of users that really rely on it.

Some people need to realize that not everybody has the same needs and that someone elses must have feature might not be important to everyone else.

If you need enterprise capacity email apps you get a blackberry, period. There's a reason its the industry standard.
