Not getting notification alerts with the headset plugged in on S10+

Notifications come in loud and clear when not plugged in, but I miss a lot of notifications if I set my phone down for a bit and my headset is plugged. I checked volume levels and also enabled the Alerts through headphones setting in Sound Assistant, but to no avail. Is there a fix for this?

You can try rebooting the phone to see if it was little gliy6
