Note 4 action memo has no tack!

I have no tack on my action memo. I wanted to put some notes on my screen. I see all the reviewers on YouTube have it. anybody else have this problem

Nope, it's there in mine.

It shouldn't affect, but are you using a different launcher?

For those using Nova it's because there are a couple stock widgets (they appear to be ones that take up a large part of the screen) that require TouchWiz Home launcher to use, like the large Calendar widget and Action Memo widget. The "tack" is an action memo widget.

So it's Nova keeping it from having this feature? Good to know...
I had issues with Nova on my Tab S (humongous battery drain), so I stopped using it. For my phone I'm waiting for Themer to support the Note 4. Let's see if this is gone then.

I am also using NOVA, and my workaround is to minimize the note, that way it ends up as a bubble on my home screen, that reminds me that I have a note, and the great bonus is that it shows up on all screens.

Just received my note 4 in the mail from Verizon, and it has no Action Memo?? Am I missing something?? I used this app daily with my note 3 & really miss it.....

If you launch Air Command with the S Pen, you don't see it as an option?

I am also using Nova Launcher. And I just discovered Action Memo is a part of S-Note. When I save a memo, it saves in S-Note. Had it always been like that? I don't think it was like that on Note 3.

Action Memo is not integrated with S-Note, it seems. That is why we don't see it in the App Drawer. But it is there among the Air Commands of S-Pen. But when you create a Action Memo through the Air Command, it saves in S-Note.

On Note 3, I could configure Action Memo to be launched automatically upon detaching of the S-Pen. I can't find that configuration on Note 4.

Also, S-pen can now only take screenshots through Air Commands. On Note 3, I could take screenshots with S-pen's physical button.

Check in settings, s pen, detachment options - mine has three options - none, action memo or air command

Another workaround I am doing is to add the S-Note Widget to the home screen. This will show previews of latest action memo and Snote entries.

Ok just by having nova launcher installed disable the pining feature of the s note.

Just having nova installed and not in use kept it from working...really strange but once I uninstalled nova the feature came back.

Touchwiz has to be the default launcher to work.

Yes true I can confirm that. I have Next Launcher installed and the tack from 'action memo' disappeared. Even if you use touchwiz 'once' the tack doesn't return. It will only return if you make Touchwhizz your default launcher.........funny stuff
