I think that's why it is going to cost $294. I believe Samsung too said labor is covered under warranty but replacing screen because I dropped it is not since I don't have insurance. I'm hoping they will send me a new one. Crossing fingers. Will come back and update this thread when I get the phone backMy daughter has an S7, she dropped and cracked the screen. Took it to the Sprint store and they have Samsung rep there, claimed since it was still within the year warranty they would fix it for 200. Took an hour.
Me I have Squaretrade, 99 dollar deductible.

 So sorry it happened! Hopefully they get it fixed fast or they send you a new one. It's so painful to see the Note8 shattered like that
