Download Power Amp and pay for premium. It's a solid music player that's stood the test of time. I believe it will find downloaded Google Music songs and play them as well. I can't confirm since I havent used it in a while.

YouTube Music is also a nice app for offline music and you can even have the option to have the actual music videos available offline as well.

I use YouTube Music, but I also pay for YouTube Red which allows me turn off my screen and allow the music to continue playing.

How do you download to pi music player? Do I just hook it up to my computer and put songs into it?

Google Play Music, it's just easy to use. I have 100gb+ downloaded - music and new music, playlist, podcasts, etc so I can listen without using data. Living in common, there is no unlimited plan and outside main cities, data gets spotty and even WiFi is undependable. Same goes with Netflix.

Oh no, that's too bad about your data cycle situation! We've all been there! I too would recommend Google Play Music. When I'm walking, waiting for the bus, or otherwise away from my WiFi and want to conserve my data, I listen to my music there. Once you pay for your music, it is always available to you - whether it is online or offline.

Samsung music. I have used N7 but Samsung's own player works fine for me.

Oh yeah not sure but it's possible it's just a US app. They also have it available for iOS.
