I want a app where I can download music and listen to it offline, any suggestions? I have been using data and I have already used up most of it and my cycle just began🙁

The mainstream ones like Google Play Music allow this.
The illegal ones I know that are piracy, I'm not sure I'm allowed to post here lol

Does Google music use data?

When downloading, yes. But you can use wifi.
If you have access to a computer, Apple or windows not Chromebook or Linux, I recommend using iTunes with isyncer and rocketplayer to sync and modify playlists. They are all payed apps but worth it. Been using this setup for years and I finds it the best way to deal with offline music as gpm is horrid at it.

Spotify let's you make your own Playlists and then download them for offline listening.

Thanks I will try this.

Spotifty charges a monthly fee, I don't think that is right(we can listen for free on the computer so why should you have to pay for it on a phone and here in Canada the phones are already high), that is why I stay away from Spotify.

I don't have a problem with paying for music, as long as I get to choose what I listen to not some curated Playlist put together by someone else (that goes for radio stations too). To each their own. Why isn't it right to pay an artist for their work? My son is in a band and I purchase all of their music, just because my son is in the band I don't think I should steal his music for free. Just my opinion.

I have no problem paying for music either, my only grudge is that my phone bill is $60 per month(in Canada) if I am paying that much should my carrier not include something like Spotify?

60 is that all? Everything is relative.

$60 + Taxes for me and my wife plus the over charges(not always). That is just me, probably cheap(LOL).
It is really cheap. I pay 625/mo for 5 phones, 3 phone payments, insurance on 3 phones and 1-30 gig internet router for home internet. All phones are unlimited. So to me 60/mo for 2 people is a steal.

My god, what country are you in? That works out to be $125, are you a small business owner?

Spotify only charges if you are going to use it offline. Same was with a computer. Turn off internet on your computer and you'll see Spotify free doesn't work because it streams.

And Spotify is cheap. $2 and change a month.

Simple -- people will pay for it. That is why.

Also why would a carrier just pay for it because you pay your phone bill? That is like asking why doesn't your carrier pay for your HBO, Starz, etc. etc. subscription just because you pay for your cell phone bill.

you can buy songs on iTunes and download them to the note. You should pay for the songs and support the artist either via subscription or buy each song/album

I choose to support fellow artists (especially independent ones), so I opt to pay for Spotify Premium.

I use Retro Music Player to store my downloaded music from iTunes.
