I'm new to the Note series and the s pen. What are the best note taking apps to use and/or the best apps for keeping a journal? I see the Samsung Notes app and I've been using it, and the screen off notes integrate into that app apparently. And the Samsung notes app seems to work fine. But are there other or better options?

Good notes! Oops not iOS.

Squid on Android is a great journaling app. I use it daily.

I use Microsoft's one note on a regular basis, but I started using that so I could take notes on my Surface Pro, syncs nice with Android but there might be better options. It gets set up like a notebook with sections and pages, can add lines and grids or leave a blank background.

Prior to that I used S Note on the older Note phones but it seems Samsung got rid of it.

I use NoteEverything mostly because I have been for years over all my phones and have a lot of stuff backed up and saved, but it's a good note app. You can do text, photo or voice memos. You can link or save things from the gallery to the app. I have sent notes from the app to the calendar and that works, it shows as a note on the day. The Spen doesn't work with it but I use the pen as a mouse on the keyboard which works very well. I know there are tons of apps out there, though.

SAME!!!!

As a writer, I've tried a lot of different apps.

For quick notes, I've stuck with Keep.
For writing notes, like at conferences or when I wake up in middle of the night, I used Notepad. But I think I'm going to like Squid!

Is there an app to record voice while writing with S-pen and playback the voice and text in sequence?

Is there a note app that uses the pen and will sync to an exchange account? I have been using Tasks & Notes for MS Exchange but I don't know if it will support the pen.
