I'm taking college classes and am looking for a note taking app that will allow me to take notes on top of a pdf or word or power point file.

So the professor has the ppt file that can be downloaded. I download it and open it up in class. Then when the instructor says something I want to be able to write with my finger right on top of the slide. As I exit, I want to be able to save my notes on the slides. Does any app like this exist?

Interesting request. I don't think I've seen anything like that. However, you may come close by taking a screen shot of that current screen and writing notes on top of it. That's a workaround, but hopefully will help until you find a better solution. Alternatively, you can take a screen shot and insert the photo into a note taking app such as Keep and write notes from within that.

This was discussed sometime back. The easiest way was to import the downloaded pdf file into snote. Perhaps Moshe can direct you to the post

It's been over a year since I last used Snote so I am not familiar with all of the features.
