Hey guys, I hope I posted in the right section... it's been a while since I've been on this forum (currently have an iPhone 5 anticipating on getting a GS3 or Note 2). I just have a quick question.
I'm on AT&T and I have a real pet peeve with the "4G" indicator used on the GS3/Note 2. It's so ugly and it's not really 4G, my area isn't even covered with HSPA+ yet in some places yet it still displays this. Is there anyway I can have it display "3G" when in HSPA/HSPA+ areas and then 4G LTE when on LTE? Maybe like Verizon has their network indicators setup? I understand I would have to root it, but I was unable to find any threads about it.
