Ok, well im at red CWM, but my dumbass did not put the voodoo kernel on my SD card to install it. Now all i can get into is red cwm. I cant mount my SD card to comp to move file to SD card to install the kernel. I see the option for it..but it's not working.

the phone wont turn on so you can move the kernel on ?

Correct. I can see where i have the option "mounts/storage" but i cant seem to get that to work.

try flashing EB16SC26x_DXC.tar from the original post

Where did you put the voodoo kernel? Did you not put it on the sd card at all? If you put it on your sd card you have to hit the volume down button until install zip from sd card is highlighted then hit the power button. Find where you put the kernel, highlight it and hit the power button.
If you didn't put it on the sd card at all, hit the menu capacitive button until you are at the main red cwm menu where reboot system now will be highlighted and hit the power button. Wait for your phone to boot up, then go through the steps we outlined before to save the kernel zip file to your sd card, then boot into recovery again.

ok i have accesssed and sent my steel blue file to g drive being my phone now it asks me to disconnect sd card before turning off storage with a button to turn off under it so am i ticking that button then going in to cwm via blue screen then down one to update sd:zip i think then in there finding steel blue and installing u have beeen BEYOND helpful thank u for the massive knowledge im trying to learn and remember

ok so when i get to my blue screen i move down one highlight it hit soft home key it flashes quick and goes to a white triange with a orage ! and a droid under it does this mean i do not have a cwm installed cause i thought with EB16SC26_DXC i had one am i missing something ?

did you put the update.zip on your card from step number 1?

i thought i did but if thats the problem im sure i didnt i can go try to find that post again and install that to the sd card then try the process over again its a crazy learning process in the 3 days ive been really head first into it

Ok i Just reflashed back to 2.2 and got it back working. No I forgot to put the kernel on my SD card. I will try again tomorrow. No idea why I couldnt boot back into my OS when i flashed CWM red through ODIN though?

Holy amazing my phone is so incredibly beautiful i can not thank landshark and droidxcon enough ive been at it for three days and wow a root froyo and steel blue and its unbeilivably insane to see the beauty that has with alot of help been created thank u all so very much

i have no idea either , either you flash the wrong one or the flash failed somehow

Well droid, the FIRST time I flashed the first link you sent me "CWMrecovery"...that didnt work. So I went and found CWM-RECOVERY-ALL or whatever and flashed over that.....

it only worked because of ur and landsharks help i missed little steps i wouldnt have seen with out u both im still in awe over here
