So I'm sure this has been asked a thousand+ times, but if I flash Super Clean version 2.4 - EB01 Froyo leak root+Froyo Clockworkmod, how would I go about getting my phone back to the factory defualt, with nothing installed but what came on it?
standupdad: Yeah, thats what I meant. Thank you!
Also, one more question. Once I backup my apps with Titanium Backup, I can flash my phone back to stock, root it, and then use TI to put my apps back on the why they were right?
Great. Glad it worked out for you. Sometimes we all get so wrapped up in the complexities we forget to check the basics.
Just trying to earn my keep boss.
One more problem. Looks like it died again and I lost phone AND 3g. A reboot took care of the problem. This is going to suck if it's going to keep happening...
Not a bad idea. I just installed the Lookout app the other day. Uninstalled.
oh yeah good idea, i heard that it can cause issues , scanning all the time in the background. you dont have a task killer installed do you
yeah but you will have to do them individually as some of the system data is eant for your froyo set up and will cause conflicts....there is also a froyo stock package, depending on your reason for rolling back
Yeah, not sure why I even installed it in the first place. I don't install any apps from warez sites or outside of the market usually so I don't have a real reason to worry about malware. If I do kill any apps I only use the built in Samsung task manager with the occasional reboot to keep things fresh.
I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks!
DXC, I just tried your root, had to realize it works a little dif, but after going through all the steps it gave me the same errors:

What am i doing wrong? It seemed like cake when i did it before Froyo!!
Ok lol, sorry sick or not you know i have OCD about not maintaining my threads
You realize that we all have OCD. That's why we do what we do. That is... until something else comes along to take away our attentio... Oooh, Shiny!
ok i did double check if thats what i was doing. This time i made sure to unmount on plug in , hit start_root, wait for reboot, unlock screen, hit unmount again, then hit press any key(in dos prompt). Still got the same errors
I downloaded the superclean version 2.6 and it runs AMAZINGLY well on my verizon samsung fascinate, its like 10 times faster than normal froyo, much credit to Adrenalynekeep the updates coming, your the best!!
