I don't know if this is a problem or not and I hope someone can help. I have ran the 28X and the 29X. Both hang up at the very end at the modem.bin.
the 1st time this happened i unplugged the cord and started over and it finished but got a lot of FC's. I am trying 29X this time and it has happened again. Has been frozen for about 5min now

just a heads up. I just got my refrub'ed phone in today. right out of the box I loaded the 29X. I am still a noob at all this. can someone please help

Sorry for the noob questions but does flashing over and over, even if you go back to stock, do any damage to the phone as far as the memory or performance?

I have flashed the 29...then the 29X. it was working fine then all of a sudden my phone buzzed. screen went blank but the "soft keys" would light up. The screen did the purple honeycomb boot for about 1.5sec then came back on

should I go back to stock and start over?

just reflash 2.9,,, and dont flash 29x

After upgrading to SC2.9 I do notice my text message conversation bubbles are black and grey, and I can't seem to find a setting to change it. What happened to the colors? I'm wondering if I missed something in installation because it just doesn't look right...

That's just the colors in the superclean ROM. If you want the old colors back you can try flashing the stock mms app from Adrynalyne's superclean thread:

It's in the patches section and you flash it through clockworkmod recovery (cwm)

It's been that way since DL30, and I believe everyone's phones are probably set to the highest setting for vibration intensity. So my guess would be no, otherwise there would have already been a way to do it passed around the forums.
