Reboot issues

Does anyone know why I lose my contacts and messages, every time I reboot? - this happens without fail each time, I restart my phone. Im running SC2.9.

I would reflash personally. You could just try 2.9.2.

Go menu=>settings=>privacy and see if back up my data is checked. If not, that may be your problem.

Anyways eveything seems fine. It kept all my apps and data. Baseband is EB01 Build is EB01.
I Was on 2.9.2 voodoo for the most part of the day and battery is very good so im sure it will be good with this as well. Will let it run over night and see. Good job DroidXcon!

Just flashed via Odin...had to disable lag fix first..almost forgot
Anyways eveything seems fine. It kept all my apps and data. Baseband is EB01 Build is EB01.
I Was on 2.9.2 voodoo for the most part of the day and battery is very good so im sure it will be good with this as well. Will let it run over night and see. Good job DroidXcon!

I sure DXC would mention it except he's busy at work, but this rom was made by adrynalyne. He's our friendly neighborhood developer and we like him alot :-D

Edit: unless your'e talking about the odin package I didn't realize he had up yet. In which case I'll just fire my mouth off and look like a moron. Stick to what you know I always say :-[

Adrynalyne you are the man! Thanks for puttin out these roms and kernels for us so our Fascinates dont totaly suck cuz VZW refuses to do anything about it!

So earlier you tell someone to flash 2.9.2 in ODIN before the packages were ready.
Now that the packages are up you try to tell someone "no, no, no Adrynalyne did that" (I guess in a way though, he actually did, so I'll give you partial credit for that one)

Just loaded SC 2.9.2 and added EC10 Kernel. (wasnt sure if it was in there)

You always want to back up when flashing a ROM... it cant hurt

Ive noticed that when i reboot the apps on my sd card don't show up in my drawer until I un-mount and then re-mount my sd card. Once i do that they show up in my drawer. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Well for one why are you putting apps on your sd card, the phone has enough storage and it slows the apps down, apps2sd card is nonsense feature, probably why google left it out of the Nexus S ..... 2nd maybe you should try backing your card up to the computer, then formatting the card on the phone. then moving all the files back

i dont know if adrynalyne tweaked the media scan for faster performance that could have something to do with it.

+1 for not using APP2SD... keep the apps on your phone, there is more than enough room for as many apps as you could possibly download. Also, if your apps also have a widget, you will not have access to the widget if the app is on your SD card.
